We are steadfast on our path towards the future. Join us on this journey and plan your event with us as a Green Meeting or Green Event. Since 2021, when we received both certifications, we have been making significant progress towards the long-term sustainability of the event industry.
Certifications for Green Events and Green Meetings are awarded to event venues that excel in areas such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmentally-friendly transportation. Located in the center of Zell am See, we have the opportunity to demonstrate our strengths in these areas.
HIGH POWER CONSUMPTION FOR congress CENTERS?
Concerned about high energy consumption in congress centers? In 2022 we installed an immensely powerful Photovoltaic system on our roof and thus made a major contribution to the energy efficiency of our venue. We have been uncompromising in waste reduction for many years, aiming to produce less rubbish wherever possible and are committed to fighting against the waste burden on the entire region. Due to our central location in Zell am See, one can arrive here very efficiently using public transportation, in a climate-friendly way. During your stay, there are numerous mobility options available. Together with the KEM Tourism focus region of Zell am See-Kaprun, we strive to become even better and more efficient in this area.

As an Event Organizer, you have the opportunity to host your event as a Green Meeting or Green Event, and we are here to support and advise you every step of the way. If you would like to join us on this path, we are authorized to certify your event with the Austrian Ecolabel. This is achieved by focusing on and sustainably meeting the following criteria:
- Transportation - climate-friendly arrival, departure & mobility on site
- Catering & Gastronomy - our organic caterer Chef Partie is also certified with the Ecolabel
- Regional Production - we focus on using regional products, arriving from short distances
- Accommodation - there are a number of hotels in the region certified with the Ecolabel
- Your On-Site Representative - our experts are from the region and know their way around
