Environmental Protection Between the glacier, mountains, lake and Hohe Tauern National Park

… there is an incomparable natural area that 1. forms the basis of our tourism region and 2. urgently needs to be preserved for future generations. As a leading company in the Zell am See- Kaprun region, we see it as our responsibility to set a good example in protecting our environment and bringing the beauty of our nature closer to our guests, customers and employees alike.

Glacier, mountain & lake, this trinity represents the core of our tourism region. Take the opportunity to look out the window or, even better, step outside. What you will see and feel is a natural environment that is hard to beat in its uniqueness. By taking part in various supporting programs and activites outside of your event or congress, you can fully immerse yourself in the beautiful
natural surroundings of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, the Schmittenhöhe mountain, and Lake Zell's drinking-quality water.

From “A” Alpine Panorama to “Z” Zell Lake

The alpine nature is within reach. Lake Zell is approximately 200 meters away from the FPCC and is an ideal place to take a short break and a deep breath. From the shore, your eyes will surely be drawn to the 3,203 meter high Kitzsteinhorn mountain towering over Kaprun. The longest cable car axis in the Eastern Alps takes you quickly into the high mountains, where you can feel the power of the Hohe Tauern with all your senses. Just a few hundred meters away from the FPCC, you’ll find the cable car station, which will take you up to the Schmittenhöhe. Once you reach almost 2,000 meters, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of 30 peaks which are higher than 3,000 meters and discover many beautiful hiking trails, go for leisurely walks, and savor some regional delicacies in rustic huts.
